Mothra was the first in a series of performance (musical and theatrical) nights produced by SOLID HANG. Nestled into the downstairs space at B3 (33 Ave B & 3rd St in NYC), Mothra delved into the worlds of a teacher's first day of school, songs of heartbreak, descriptive travelouges, uber-emo music and southern blues. The night had its hits and misses but was unique in that all the performances were of new writing. Additionally it gave a chance for actors and writers to hone their craft where it matters most, on stage. With a sizable turnout, B3 asked SOLID HANG to continue producing their performance nights.
