SOLID HANG Presents Bringing It All Back Home by Terrence McNally

Under the leadership of Guest Director Jacquie Phillips, and Executive Producer, Pravin Sathe, SOLID HANG is pleased to present Terrence McNally's Bringing It All Back Home. Bringing It All Back Home runs from September 8 - September 11 at Collective: Unconscious, 279 Church Street (New York, NY).
Performances at 7:30 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with additional matinee performances at 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Doors open at 1:45 PM for matinee performances and 7:15 PM for all evening performances. Single tickets are $15, student tickets $10 and senior citizens (65 and over) $10. Tickets can be purchased online through Theater Mania (http://theatermania.com) or the box office by calling 212 - 254 - 5277. Student and senior tickets available only at box office. All tickets bought through the box office must be paid in cash (tickets bought at the door are on a first-come-first-serve basis)

SOLID HANG's production of Bringing It All Back Home (September 8 - 11) promises to be a work that is not to be missed. A political farce, Bringing It All Back Home - the story of a family dealing with losing their eldest son in war - reveals themes of death, isolation, celebrity, sexual identity and family values of a seemingly ordinary American family.

ABOUT the Playwright
Terrence McNally is one of this nation's most respected contemporary playwrights. Since his Broadway premiere in 1964 with And Things Go Bump in the Night, McNally has been thrilling and shocking audiences with his irreverently bold humor and fearless subversion of the ordinary. His grand library of plays include It's Only a Play, Bad Habits, Hope and Charity, The Ritz, Whiskey and Frankie and Johnny at the the Clair De Lune. Currently, his new show Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams starring Nathan Lane and Marian Seldes is opening Aug. 18 at 59E59 Theaters for a run through Sept. 18.

ABOUT SOLID HANG
SOLID HANG was borne out of a need to create a social network of budding artists from various genres. From those beginnings, SOLID HANG has evolved into a company whose purpose it is to create innovative, and thought provoking art primarily through collaboration. The company's most recent work includes the design of a web catalogue for the-Metropolitan Museum of Art's presentation of Tony Oursler's Studio... and Climaxed, an interview with DJ Spooky in NY Arts Magazine as well as a series of performances at B3 lounge in New York's Alphabet City. Pravin Sathe is the founder of SOLID HANG, Upon graduating from New York University with a double major in Politics and Economics he taught mathematics in Washington Irving High School as part of the NYC Teaching Fellows program. He has written for Pop + Politics dot com, Wiretap and NY Arts Magazine on issues ranging from copyright law, politics and the arts. He has worked with Tony Oursler over the past 6 years on web and video projects as well as designing and producing the web presence of Steven Montgomery, Jacqueline Humphries, and Rebecca Holderness among others.

ABOUT Collective: Unconscious
Collective: Unconscious supports the emerging arts community of New York City in several practical ways: (1) by providing an administrative and technical resource center for artistic development, management and action; (2) by helping artists to promote their work; and (3) by providing a low cost venue for rehearsals and performances. This ongoing renovations and improvements at Collective: Unconscious are made possible, in part, by the Alliance for Downtown New York and by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, with support from The September 11th Fund; the Department of Cultural Affairs; Councilman Alan Gerson; the Collective: Unconscious board of directors and many individuals.
